What is a Colorado Mountain Dog?
The Colorado Mountain Dog (CMD) is a livestock guardian dog (LGD) specifically bred for small acreage farming. We are selecting for dogs which tend to wander and bark less, and which accept unknown humans easily and without suspicion or hostility. The CMD is a beautiful dog, taller and leaner than some LGD breeds, with a medium body coat, soft silky hair that doesn’t mat, and long full manes and tails. They are generally white, but other colors are acceptable, such as brindle, tan with a dark muzzle, or badger markings. A well bred Colorado Mountain Dog is a great family companion, and will do small perimeters around you as you hike or do chores on your property.

SWF Maximus Chavez of RRD is a G2 CMD out of SWF Reddy Freddy and UUX Zeki. Maximus is a Caspian grandson. Max has sired both of our litters and is the alpha dog here at Regulator Ranch.
Arwen Juliette
PPF Arwen Juliette of RRD is a G2 CMD out of UUX Dolly and W2E King Boaz AKA "Bo". Arwen has had one litter of 9 pups with Maximus. If Jeremiah wasn't already married to Breanna, he'd probably marry Arwen.
Soul Glo
WFF Soul Glo of RRD is a G2 CMD out of W2E Alpine Valkyrie and WFF Solo Corellian. Soul has had one litter of 7 pups.
Oswaldo Burton
RRD Oswaldo Burton is the first Regulator to be born on the ranch. He is a G3 CMD out of WFF Soul Glo and SWF Maximus Chavez of RRD. Ozzie is Jeremiah's best friend and they get into all kinds of trouble together!
Ziva Everdeen
RRD Ziva Everdeen is a G3 CMD out of SWF Maximus Chavez & PPF Arwen Juliette of RRD. Ziva is the weirdest member of the Regulator crew, but is a total sweetheart and wonderful goat guardian.
Otis Tarantino
Otis Tarantino is a G3 CMD out of SWF Maximus Chavez & PPF Arwen Juliette of RRD. Otis is our biggest pup and earned his name by passionately howling love songs, like Otis Redding.
